Tuesday Tour: Trees at Biltmore House

Biltmore House is a Vanderbilt-built mansion in Asheville, North Carolina. Set on a plateau in the Smoky Mountains, the grounds were laid out by noted landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted (that’s right, the one from the early days at Stanford University). Pam Penick, a nationally known garden blogger at Digging, recently visited Biltmore House and takes us on a tour of Olmsted’s trees.
