The Tour of California cycling race started in Nevada City yesterday, and the Tour of Nevada County gardens starts on Saturday. Whether or not to wear spandex and carry a water bottle is up to you. Form a peloton of gardening friends and set your own pace both weekend days through eight varied gardens. Tickets are $20 in advance, benefiting the Soroptimists and their good causes.
