October surprise

October is here and I’ve got news for you. The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden has raised the bar, big time, for Halloween decorating.

You thought your trio of pumpkins near the front door was a festive accent? Think again. The Arboretum staff has created an entire Pumpkin House, and that’s just part of a Pumpkin Village. The whole extravaganza leaves me feeling rather squashed.
