Mock orange for April Fools

I’m happy to fool myself with Mock orange bushes.

Our neighbors, the Dodinis, had a 12-foot Mock orange bush that scented half a block when it bloomed. It has since been cut down, but I think it was Philadelphus coronarius. The folks at Horticulture magazine enjoy another, Philadelphus lewisii, while Michele Owens of Garden Rant throws up her hands over that plant.

Which is your favorite Mock orange? No fooling now.
