The iris photographer is no less erudite. Lively and witty Helen Battersby writes the Toronto Gardens blog with her sister Sarah. She tweets with a clever touch and you should follow her, if you’re Twitter-minded. When I read her I really do LOL.
P.S. All of Northern California can grow this iris, happy in USDA Zones 5-9.

Charlotte, I am a big Paghat’s Garden fan! I first came across her numerous plant profile pages, (voluminous amount of plant pages!) when I first started looking for more information online for the plants I’d buy at the nursery. Her pages would pop up on Google Images over and over. The best thing is all the interesting background info she finds as well as the fabulous quotes! I highly recommend her!
