All I want for Christmas is an Arboreal Salamander

I might already have one. You too. They live all over Northern California, but with their nocturnal ways we’re not in the garden at the same time (except for this week’s eclipse viewing). Nippy little fellows, read about them and their need for oaks on the Curbstone Valley blog.

Royal Horticultural Society—-New garden category announced for Chelsea Flower Show. Clue: in California we use the word with cheese, jam, honey, and even salami.
